As more people are getting involved in the project and request issues that they
can work on we might look at the bigger picture and try to categorize issues a
bit more. My suggestion are these categories:

  • environment
    • researches around the mars to get a accurate environment in the game
    • world generation and loading
    • logic concerning the world or that changes the world around the player
      (weather, day night cycle, sandstorm etc.)
  • player
    • look and feel (camera, camera settings, player physics)
    • game logic concerning the player (e.g. actions)
    • interaction with the environment
  • design
    • game design discussion
  • tooling
    • ingame ui
    • debug tooling
    • tools for ingame testing
    • infrastructure

I think with these categories we can develop issues where everyone could find some that suits him/her.
